Baku Energy Week: Swiss SGS to carry out international certification of Uzbekistan GTL Plant products

On June 2, 2022, Uzbekistan GTL and SGS signed a Memorandum of Understanding within the framework of  Baku Energy Week (Baku, Azerbaijan).

The memorandum implies  establishment of cooperation in the field of inspection services for oil products and industrial sites of the GTL Plant in Uzbekistan, laboratory testing of finished GTL products according to international standards, as well as  exchange of experience.

The signing took place with participation of Shakhzod Alirizayev, the First Deputy Chairman of the Board of Uzbekneftegaz JSC, at the 27th International Caspian Oil and Gas Exhibition as part of Baku Energy Week, one of the most prestigious events in the energy sector of the Caspian region, which takes place in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan.

“It is a great honor for us to start cooperation with such a unique and innovative Uzbekistan GTL plant. We are confident in the long-term and fruitful cooperation between our companies in the field of quality control of GTL fuel, which is a premium fuel,” - said Dilshod Juraev, Executive Director of SGS Tashkent.

Baku Energy Week is the most representative event of oil and gas and energy sector in the Caspian region, the grand opening ceremony of which was attended by Ilham Aliyev, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
