On May 8, 2021, Mr. Marcel Krause, the Technical Director of Uzbekistan GTL, arranged a training for the Company's engineering and technical specialists on safe operation of fired heaters installed at the GTL Complex for production of synthetic liquid fuels.

During the training, the participants learned details of technical characteristics and parameters of each heater of the Complex, key elements of their safe operation, technical and service maintenance, as well as main aspects of their structure and physical and chemical processes.

Participants studied the lessons learned from operation experience of similar heaters of other plants, and discussed possible causes and consequences of improper operation of these installations. Participants also learned theoretical foundations and tools for building a proper operation model of the heaters.
