Control works are regularly carried out to eliminate the identified shortcomings in the shortest possible time and to perform high-quality construction and installation works, comply with the Project requirements, and complete the scheduled works in a timely manner. As a reminder, commissioning works of the Plant's equipment are being extensively performed by the Project’s EPC Contractors - Korea’s Hyundai Engineering, Hyundai Engineering & Construction and Enter Engineering (Singapore).

At present, more than 500 units of equipment have been involved in commissioning, and over 9 thousand people continue working at the Construction Site.

Once commissioned, Uzbekneftegaz GTL Plant will annually process 3.6 bcm of natural gas to produce 1.5 million tons of high-quality synthetic liquid fuel, over 307 thousand tons of jet kerosene, 724 thousand tons of diesel, 437 thousand tons of naphtha and 53 thousand tons of liquefied gas.

In this regard, the Chairman of the Management Board noted that control of the cutting-edge equipment of the Plant, which is one of the largest projects in Central Asia, also requires highly qualified personnel, and also noted the need to arrange training of specialists, retraining and advanced training of the Company’s engineers and technical specialists in safe operation of fire furnaces installed at the GTL synthetic liquid fuel production Complex.

Members of the Task Group, headed by the Chairman of the Management Board, studied the details of pre-operational works and tests of pipelines and equipment at the Plant’s process sections.
