VACANCY: LEGAL COUNSEL

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

Providing full legal support of the Company’s activities (production and sale of petroleum products);

Legal support of public procurement procedures;

Drafting and reviewing civil law contracts, including export-import agreements (procurement of goods, works and services);

Drafting and reviewing corporate documents, minutes of management meetings, orders and internal regulations;

Preparation of HR documentation, employment contracts, internal policies, and providing legal advice to management and employees on labor and other legal matters;

Representing the Company before third parties, including representation in courts and participation in claim and litigation processes;

Legal support during governmental inspections;

Monitoring compliance with applicable legislation and informing management and staff about legislative updates;

Handling other legal matters related to the Company’s activities.

🔹 Candidate Requirements:

Education: Higher legal education.

Work Experience:

At least 5 years of experience as Legal Counsel;

Experience in international companies or in the oil & gas sector will be an advantage.

Language Skills:

Uzbek – fluent (written and spoken);

Russian – fluent (written and spoken);

English – at least B2 level (business correspondence and negotiations).

Professional Skills:

Experience in court proceedings (economic courts, international arbitration);

Strong knowledge of substantive and procedural law (civil, commercial, administrative, labor, corporate law);

Knowledge of public procurement legislation and experience in tender procedures;

Experience in drafting corporate documents and export-import contracts.

Personal Qualities:

High level of responsibility, analytical thinking, ability to work in a multitasking environment, strong communication skills, stress resistance, attention to detail.
