The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkata Mirziyoeva, the current Chairman of the Board of JSC "Uzbekneftegaz" Mexriddin Abdullaev during his working visit to the Republic of Karakalpakstan on February 23-24 of the current year, visited the plant near the Republic of Uzbekistan.

During this visit, the issues of localization of products, components, materials and industrial services necessary for the needs of the Uzbekistan GTL plant, establishing links of industrial cooperation between enterprises were considered, and specific measures for cooperation were identified.

Representatives of domestic enterprises were provided with detailed information about the production equipment and reactors of the plant, their functioning and tasks, a modern laboratory, and were also familiarized with the plant's control panel. In a separately created "showroom" there are samples of products that are necessary for the needs of the plant during operation and are currently supplied from imports.

As part of the event, the plant was visited by entrepreneurs from almost all regions of the republic. In particular, about 20 domestic manufacturers who arrived from the Republic of Karakalpakstan were given all the necessary clarifications on the organization of production for the Uzbekistan GTL plant.

It should be noted that on the basis of the initiatives and instructions of the Chairman of the Board of Uzbekneftegaz JSC Mekhriddin Abdullayev, priority is given to the implementation of industrial cooperation links between society and domestic manufacturing enterprises on an ongoing basis.

In 2022, through the Single Cooperation Portal, it is planned to conclude contracts with domestic producers worth more than 1 trillion soums, sign Road Maps for the development of more than 350 types of products and services based on cooperation with local enterprises, as well as the development of products worth more than 10 million dollars USA and reduction of their imports.

As part of supporting domestic producers and expanding cooperation, Uzbekistan GTL LLC signed contracts with 463 domestic enterprises during 2021. The agreements were signed through the electronic cooperation portal (cooperation.uz), the electronic store for corporate customers (eshop.uzex.uz), the regional e-commerce portal of national entrepreneurs (emilliyydocon.uzex.uz), the UzExTender and eHarid platforms.

In addition, it is planned to work with local business entities and research institutes on issues related to quality and price indicators by conducting pilot tests of products manufactured at the Uzbekistan GTL plant.

Recall that the Uzbekistan GTL plant, which is the foundation of the third renaissance, will annually process 3.6 billion cubic meters of natural gas and produce 1.5 million tons of finished liquid products. In particular, 307 thousand tons of jet fuel, 724 thousand tons of diesel fuel, 437 thousand tons of naphtha, 53 thousand tons of liquefied gas.
