Uzbekistan GTL plant is one of the largest and most advanced plants of its kind in the world. The project aims to significantly expand Uzbekistan’s capacity for deep processing of natural gas and drastically reduce imports of hydrocarbon raw materials.

The plant is projected to process 3.6bn cubic meters of gas at full capacity. The gas, which consists of over 98% methane, comes from the Shurtan Gas Chemical Complex (SGCC) located next to Uzbekistan GTL. The facility already produces GTL kerosene, GTL diesel fuel, GTL naphtha and LPG.
