Uzbekistan GTL Complex launched production of GTL fuels in June 2022, and now the fuels are supplied to consumers through Uzbek Republican Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange on a daily basis.
Uzbekistan GTL diesel is a modern high-quality fuel that meets European quality standards. GTL diesel, which fully complies with EURO-6 standard requirements, is the first synthetic fuel in Uzbekistan and the CIS countries with excellent performance and environmental properties.
By the order of Mekhriddin Abdullayev, the Chairman of the Board of Uzbekneftegaz JSC, Uzbekistan GTL has been put into full operation, followed by a gradual output growth. Moreover, the finished products output is expected to keep growing after the startup of the Plant’s second line in November of this year.
At present, the Plant produces an average of 1,500 tons of synthetic diesel per day, and in November, thanks to commissioning of the second line of the Plant, the output will reach an average of 3,000 tons per day.
With the output grows, the Plant achieves reduction in the production costs.
In order to ensure supplies of high-quality and environmentally friendly diesel by Uzbekneftegaz JSC to Uzbek household consumers, according to the instruction of the Chairman of Uzbekneftegaz JSC, the starting price of one tonne of the synthetic diesel being put up for auction through the Uzbek Republican Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange, is to reduce to 12,998 420 UZS as from October 31, 2022.
In the future, due to the increase in the Plant’s output, the products cost and, accordingly, their starting prices at the exchange auctions will successively see a downturn adjustment.
As a reminder, this is the third price reduction over the last three months. The starting price of the GTL fuel was lowered from 15,550,500 UZS to 14,504,378 UZS on August 29, 2022, and then to 13,897,110 UZS on September 13, 2022.
