According to the roadmap signed between the State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) and Uzbekneftegaz JSC aimed to expand mutual cooperation, the companies made a decision to establish an exchange of best practices between the organizations in the field of personnel management.
As part of this cooperation, on May 11, 2023 the 2nd personnel management group of SOCAR delegation visited Uzbekistan GTL Plant to learn more about  its manufacturing processes.
During the visit, the delegation was provided detailed information about the history of the investment project for production of synthetic liquid fuels, the manufacturing process, the works carried out under the qualified personnel training program, and conditions created for employees. 

Members of the delegation made specific mention that the bulk of the employees employed in the operation of the giant Uzbekistan GTL Plant  with the high production capacity, are young initiative specialists who graduated from local universities, and that the growth in labor productivity and resources saving are being achieved through  digitalization of business processes.
At the end of the visit, the Chief Operating Officer Nasirbek Zakirjanov held a meeting with the delegation. Participants of the meeting emphasized the need for further strengthening of cooperation between the two fraternal countries, in particular, exchange of achievements and gained experience in the field of oil and gas. They also expressed confidence that this visit would further develop future cooperation relations.
