On September 23, 2022, Uzbekistan GTL Plant was shortlisted for the USA’s most  prestigious  S&P Global Energy Awards.

Ушбу мукофот жаҳон энергетика саноатининг “Оскар” мукофоти сифатида эътироф этилган “2022 Platts Global Energy Awards” АҚШнинг S&P Global нуфузли ҳакамлар ҳайъати томонидан “Углеводородларни қайта ишлаш соҳаси ва кимё саноати” номинациясида дунёнинг етакчи корхоналари қаторида номзод сифатида танланган эди.

Uzbekistan GTL Plant was selected as a nominee among the world's leading companies in Downstream & Chemicals Category by S&P Global jury (USA) of the 2022 Platts Global Energy Awards, the “Oscars of the global energy industry”.

The nominees also include the world’s leading companies, such as China Gas Holdings (China), Clariter (Luxembourg), Hindustan Petroleum Corporation (India), Indian Oil Corporation (India), Kiewit (USA), United Energy Trading (USA) and Valero Energy Corporation (USA) (all are multi-billion-dollar turnover companies listed at the world's leading stock exchange).

The award ceremony was hosted by S&P Global on December 8, 2022 in New York, USA.

For the first time in the history of Uzbekistan’s petrochemical industry, Uzbekistan GTL Plant was announced as the winner of this prestigious world 2022 award in Downstream & Chemicals Category, based on such criteria as production of high-quality and environmentally friendly fuel products at Uzbekistan GTL Plant, which meet the full range of international standards,  absence of generation  toxic exhaust gases when using GTL products, use of innovative technologies in production process, application of advanced transformation processes, as well as efficiency and flexibility in managing production processes in turbulent and unstable times in the energy sector

For reference. S&P Global Platts, founded in 1909, is the USA’s largest and the world’s  most influential news agency, publishing prices and quotations of oil, petroleum products, gas, petrochemicals and industrial metals traded in the world.

In 2021, the following companies were awarded in various nominations: Masdar, IBM, Samsung Engineering, Bloom Energy, Cenovus Energy, Valero Energy Corporation and other international leading companies.
